The American Harp Foundation is proud to announce the Winners of the 2026 Kathy Bundock Moore Memorial Scholarship. We congratulate them all on this outstanding accomplishment, along with their marvelous teachers, nurturing schools, and supportive families.
The 2026 Kathy Bundock Moore Memorial Scholarship winner is Julianne McCollough.
Julianne McCollough
Hailing from Denver, Colorado, harpist Julianne McCollough is pursuing a Bachelor of Music at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She has served as Principal Harpist in multiple Jacobs School of Music orchestras, performing under distinguished conductors including Arthur Fagen, Constantine Kitsopoulos, Jeffery Meyer, John Morris Russell, Anthony Parnther, and Thomas Wilkins. Her primary teachers include Elżbieta Szmyt, Sarah Bullen, Barbara Lepke-Sims, and Courtney Hershey Bress.
Julianne was awarded a highly sought-after Performer’s Certificate by a faculty committee for her junior recital, and she won first prize in the 2025 Indianapolis Matinee Musicale Collegiate Scholarship Competition. Principal Harpist of the Colorado All-State Orchestra in 2023, she also performed for two seasons with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra. She is also passionate about bringing harp music to non-classical audiences and has performed at weddings and events across Colorado since 2014.
In addition to her performance studies, Julianne is pursuing a Certificate in Arts Administration at the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She has developed a strong interest in graphic design, marketing, and communications through her work with the USA International Harp Competition.
Outside of harp music, Julianne enjoys playing piano in church, spending time in nature, and reading C.S. Lewis.
A scholarship award of $2,000 is awarded annually to any student studying at any accredited university. Priority will be given to those either attending a Colorado school or residing in Colorado.
